What do we do at the Communications Department? We manage the Town Hall's relations with the press, radio, TV and national and international media; We coordinate the Town Hall's website and manage news and the agenda on the municipal website; We run the Calvià! and the Entorn de Calvià municipal information magazines, We manage the Ràdio Calvià public radio station; We manage the Town Hall's social networks and coordinate the social media management of the other departments; We coordinate Protocol and organise institutional events with the Mayor; We help out with events organised by other departments; We coordinate municipal publications; We coordinate the different Town Hall's advertising and information campaigns; We supervise the municipal corporate image; We coordinate the Communication Sessions in the Public Administration.
Since 2016 the Town Hall of Calvià has adhered to the Public Local Communication Decalogue of Good Practices of of the Univeritat Autònoma de Barcelona.
