'Mallorca Live Festival' Professional Day

 A professional and training day for artists and workers of Mallorca's music industry will be held on Thursday 11th May as part of the parallel activities of the Mallorca Live Festival.

It will be attended by professionals belonging to the Association MIM ('Mujeres de la Industria de la Música' (Women of the Music Industry) born with the aim of ensuring the effective equality of women and men in the music industry sector, Illenc (Institut de la Llengua i la Cultura de les Illes Balears), and the festival itself. The Professional Day will be held at the Sala Amplificador in Es Generador.

From 4 p.m. they will talk about what tools a festival needs to be egalitarian - not only from the artistic point of view but also from workers; there will be an informative talk about the association MIM especially addressed to the women workers of the musical industry of Mallorca; and they will address the problem artists in the Balearics have when it comes down to getting their work out of the islands. To this end, the event will be attended by Carmen Zapata (MIM President and Director of the Association Salas Catalanas), Pat Quinteiro (Partner of MIM, Co-founder of HerBeats and CEO of the Pat Communications Press Agency), Lorena Jiménez (Partner of MIM, founder and director of the promotion agency La Trinchera).

From 5.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Carles Martínez (Co-Director of Industriamusica.es) and Paula Mara Moreno (Partner of MIM and Communication Officer at Mallorca Live Festival) will carry out with the attendees who wish to the workshop "Communication strategies to introduce yourself at festivals".

From 6 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. there will be a coffee break that will act as a networking meeting between the various agents of the Music Industry present.

From 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Marta Ferré of Illenc will give an Information Session on aids for the external promotion for Illenc artists.
