General Urban Planning Progress Exhibition

EXHIBITION OF THE PGOU PROGRESS

Calvià Town Hall has initiated a calendar of territorial activities and meetings to explain to the citizens of the municipality the Progress of the General Urban Planning (PGOU), which is currently on public exhibition until the end of February, since it has been decided to extend it to 3 months (instead of the initial 2) to facilitate the citizens' access to documentation.

On Monday 15^th January, at 6.30 p.m., the Mayor of Calvià and the deputy mayor for Urban Planning, Antonio García Moles, inaugurated an exhibition at the hall of the consistorial building in which the residents of Calvià will be able to consult the maps that are part of the technical documentation of the Progress. Subsequently, a conference-colloquium took place, also open to the public, under the title The General Urban Planning of Calvià and the new Land Law, in which took part Gerardo Roger Fernández, consultant architect of the PGOU; Miquel Ripoll Torres, attorney general of the PGOU; and Jaume Carbonero Malberti, architect-director of the PGOU, and in which public interventions took place.

In addition to this act, and to encourage the participation of the residents of Calvià, a round of territorial meetings by different areas will begin on 23^rd January to offer information on the Progress' proposal and collect proposals of the citizenship.
