CALVIÀ HOSTS A NEW EDITION OF FRIKIDAY WHICH THIS YEAR IS DEDICATED TO THE FAMOUS STAR WARS SAGA
The youth building Es Generador will host tomorrow a whole day of activities, games, markets and workshops
The youth building Es Generador will host a new edition of FrikiDay this Saturday 19th May, which will include a proposal with more workshops, a friki market with more spaces and, above all, a lot of fun, so that young people and families get to know the facilities and the range of possibilities offered by the Calvià Town Hall's Youth Service, through a striking theme and that this year will focus on the best known science fiction saga of all times, Star Wars.
The premises will open its doors to the FrikiDay – Friki Wars Edition, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with workshops for the most creative, astute or even the most competitive people, as well as PS4 tournaments, Nintendo Switch, board games and PC with games such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball or the Qíahn Universe.
There will also be performances on the Amplificador indoor stage, and on the oudoor stage, next to the friki market, where associations such as Shinigamis Mallorca or Totoros Mallorca will perform from the classic FriQuiz or the friki karaoke, to dance performances and Asian music, or a cosplay contest. On the other hand, Arte & Cómics together with Norma Cómics are preparing the second edition of the illustration contest.
In addition, the AACF will wear their best spaceship clothes to transport participants to the world of fiction and, together with Harry Potter Fan Mallorca, will be the ones in charge of demonstrating and showing how to play the favourite sport of magicians, the Quidditch.
It will be a day full of activities, competitions, workshops, tournaments and demonstrations in addition to the already famous Callejón Friki, with stalls of the most well-known stores on the island such as Neko Neko, El Món d'en Kaito, Otaku Planet, Nexus Robótica Educativa or Norma Cómics, amongst others.
