Calvià at the 'Universitat Oberta per a Majors' programme closing ceremony
The university campus has welcomed the closing ceremony of the 'Universitat Oberta per a Majors' programme in which Calvià has taken part, amongst other municipalities. In total, 32 people from Calvià village, 13 from Son Caliu, 8 from Portals, 6 from Son Ferrer, 1 from Palmanova, 2 from El Toro, 1 from Costa de la Calma and 1 from Costa d'en Blanes have attended the courses.
The closing ceremony, headed by the UIB's rector, Llorenç Hughet, has been attended by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, and the councillor for Social Welfare and Senior Citizens, Mayte Albertí. Later, the mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal joined to congratulate the people who have taken part in the UOM's programme.
