THE II CALVIÀ EMPLOYMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP FAIR WILL OFFER ON 21ST MARCH MORE THAN 470 JOBS AND SELECTION INTERVIEWS AT 31 BUSINESS STANDS
The II Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair, which will take place on 21st and 22nd March, will offer more than 470 jobs, mostly related to the services sector in the municipality of Calvià.
Although most of the offers refer to professional profiles of activities related to tourism and hospitality, such as restaurant and meeting room, kitchen, reception and floor management, it should be noted the increase in offers related to trade, construction, security and services to people.
The first day of the Fair will take place at the Galatzó sports centre in Santa Ponça, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 6.30 p.m., with the objective of carrying out job interviews at 31 business stands.
Regarding this point, the Employment and Training Institute of Calvià (IFOC), since the beginning of February has informative sessions to help people, both in the registration of the curriculum and job offers, and offering a training programme to face job interviews.
The Fair includes, on 22nd March, a day addressed to enterprising people and companies at the Sala Palmanova, that combines the presentation of entities and coworkings from all over Mallorca, workshops and formative capsules, and contact spaces ('coffee-break' and 'speed dating').
It is important to note that in order to participate in the Fair, some simple steps have to be carried out before 21st March:
1- Enter the CV in the IFOC's employment platform
2- Once the CV has been entered, you can register for the available job offers
Both steps are carried out on the Fair's website www.empleatcalvia.com or, in case of doubt, directly at the IFOC's offices. In order that the experience of participating in the Fair is a pleasant and close event, the IFOC's staff is available to interested people to help them throughout the process.
