More than 700 hikers in Mallorca Walking Event

CALVIÀ WILL HAVE MORE THAN 700 EUROPEAN HIKERS FROM 4^th TO 7^th APRIL IN THE 4^th EDITION OF MALLORCA WALKING EVENT

More than 700 registered hikers, mostly from the Netherlands, Germany, England and Belgium, will walk through several routes in Peguera and the surrounding areas

The Mallorca Walking Event-La Primavera will take place from tomorrow Thursday and until Sunday, in which every day more than 700 hikers, mostly from the Netherlands, Germany, England and Belgium, will walk through several routes in Peguera and the surrounding areas.

This is the fourth edition of the event that aims to extend the tourist season through an activity in which the natural and cultural heritage of the municipality of Calvià are promoted.

The hiker chooses the distance to walk: 12.5 km, 20 km and 30 km. The organisation has designed these tours to publicise the historical and landscape heritage of the municipality. There will be two refreshment points as well as medical assistance and coordination with Local Police and Emergencies, along the route.

Thanks to this fun, sporting and sustainable event, Calvià and Mallorca are promoted internationally, this means an influx of international tourists interested in our nature, culture, gastronomy, villages and the Serra de Tramuntana.
