Second travel bloggers meeting

SECOND TRAVEL BLOGGERS MEETING IN CALVIÀ

For 3 days they have been able to discover the municipality's offer in the mid-low season

Ten bloggers specialised in travel, lifestyle and tourism, have visited different points of Calvià this weekend to discover the destination's offer in the mid-low season. Organised by the Calvià Town Hall and Fundación Calvià, with the collaboration of Momentum Plaza, Port Adriano, Illetes Spa restaurant, Fergus and OD Puerto Portals.

In this second meeting, the bloggers started the route in Calvià village, one of the two traditional villages of the municipality, with a guided tour to the most representative enclaves such as the houses of Can Verger, Can Ros, es Pontet or the church and the rectory. At Puig de sa Morisca they made a brief historical route through the king En Jaume troops landing commemorative places and they also visited the archaeological park.

On Saturday they witnessed the departure of the VI edition of Challenge Peguera Mallorca, one of the most outstanding sporting events at the end of the season, where Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal welcomed them.

The Galatzó estate put an end to the visit. There they were able to see a typical Mallorcan estate in the houses of Galatzó and tried samples of Mallorcan products. Throughout their stay they have been able to discover different points of Calvià village, Port Adriano, Illetes, Santa Ponça, Peguera, Port Portals and Magaluf.

With this second bloggers meeting, the wide and varied offer that Calvià has during the mid-low season, as well as the gastronomic, cultural, sports and natural proposals that people who visit the municipality can enjoy a long the whole year, was made known.

The 10 people who have visited the municipality come from Spain, Italy and Belgium.
