CLOSURE OF THE THIRD EDITION OF THE ENTREPRENEURS ACCELERATOR PROGRAMME IN CALVIÀ
15 participants have presented their business models to a group of experts
The Training and Employment Institute of Calvià (IFOC), this year has undertaken the third edition of the entrepreneurs accelerator programme which aims to develop the entrepreneurial skills of fifteen people.
During the three months of the programme, the people who have participated have received training, coaching and consulting to generate self-employment projects with proposals of high added value.
The accelerator programme has hosted its main event at Es Generador youth building, where they have explained the different business projects related to the fields of, amongst others, meditation, fashion, coaching, design, etc. Once each entrepreneur has presented his/her idea and business model, a group of experts formed by professionals in the field of entrepreneurship have made their contributions.
This year the jury was composed of: Amor Pérez Martínez, manageress of La Caixa companies in the area of Calvià; Pere Jiménez, manager of the Institute of Innovation of the Balearic Islands; Ricardo Moreno, president of SECOT in the Balearic Islands, Manuel Guerrero, manager of Parc Bit's Emprenbit Programme and Toni Sierra, founder and director of the ONGD Treball Solidari.
