Aids processing for the self-employed

Friday 20th November 2020

CALVIÀ TOWN HALL WILL PROCESS AID REQUESTS FOR SELF-EMPLOYED WORKERS THUS ALLOWING TO SPEED UP THE PROCESS

The IFOC will once again offer advice for the submission of aid applications for the self-employed

The self-employed in Calvià will be able to opt for the call that has been reopened, to request extraordinary aids to self-employed workers, which will allow self-employed professionals from Calvià, who could not apply for the call, to request these aids, as of 23rd November.

This call's second round is held for the municipalities that have not depleted the credit, which in the case of Calvià is a total of 2.092,168 euros, of which 1.500,000 euros are provided by Calvià Town Hall; 444.955 euros by the Government of the Balearic Islands, and 147.213 euros by the Consell de Mallorca.

With this call reopening, procedures will speed up since, on the one hand, a Responsible Declaration may be submitted and, on the other, in the case of Calvià, a collaboration agreement will be signed so that the aids can be processed from the Town Hall. In this sense, the General Directorate for Economic Promotion, Entrepreneurship and Social and Circular Economy entrusted Calvià Town Hall to process the applications submitted by Calvià citizens.

On this occasion, as it was done in the call's first round, the Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC) provides support and advice to people who want to access the aids.
