CALVIÀ TOWN HALL WILL GRANT THE TERRACES OCCUPATION RATE FOR THE WHOLE YEAR
The restaurant sector will see this rate fully granted during 2020 and 2021
Calvià Town Hall has decided to extend the reduction in the public space occupancy rate throughout 2021, to the municipality's restaurant sector. In this way, bars and restaurants occupying the public domain with tables and chairs will no longer have to pay the fee throughout the year.
At the beginning, this measure was considered for the first six months of the year, with the possibility of extension, depending on how the de-escalation progressed. Finally, it has been decided to exempt the payment for the whole the year, as it was done in 2020.
Last year, within the Municipal Plan for the social, economic and environmental recovery of Calvià, this measure was already considered, at a cost for the municipality of about 160.000 euros.
