II DEMOCRATIC MEMORY OF CALVIÀ CONFERENCE
Most of the activities of the II Democratic Memory of Calvià Conference, which has had leading experts in the field, have taken place this weekend. Presentations, round tables and a walk through Illetes Fortress, have focused the Conference these days.

Conference opening by Rafel Sedano and Marga Plomer, councillor and deputy mayor for Democratic Memory; Democratic Memory Law, with Laura Camargo and inauguration of the Exhibition "Pequeñas cosas de un tiempo de espinas".
2nd October (Sa Societat)
"Memorias. De la exaltación de Franco en la memoria de la democracia (1975-2021)", by Manuel Santana; "La expedición mallorquina a la Olimpiada Popular de Barcelona, 1936. Una historia de exilios forzados", by Pablo Tomás Ramis; "Historia y memoria de los presos de Franco. El campo de trabajo de Sa Coma en Es Capdellà", by M. Eugenia Jaume y Esteva; "Red de Espacios de Memoria del Memorial Democrático de Cataluña. Una visión panorámica ", with Oriol Dueñas Iturbe; Talk about memory spaces and fascist symbology, with Emilio Silva, and Roundtable on fascist symbology.
3rd October (IES Bendinat Auditorium)
Educational project "Ruta en el Exilio, un millar de huellas", by David González and "Elaboración de material didáctico, para no olvidar nuestro pasado" by Marta Castilo García, and talk and walk to know Illetes Fortress, by Manel Suárez.
8th October (Calvià cemetery)
