Sala Palmanova is adapted as a concert hall

THE SALA PALMANOVA IS RENOVATED TO BECOME A CONCERT HALL

The municipal space, which will continue to host other types of cultural events, will be the only public hall adapted for concerts in Calvià

The Sala Palmanova changes its image to become a concert hall that will hold a capacity of almost 400 people standing up. With this action, another important step is taken to expand the cultural offer of the municipality.

Calvià Town Hall, through the Department of Culture, has begun a renewal of the municipal space divided into 3 phases: renewal of the parquet, soundproofing of the room with installation of sound-absorbing materials and installation of a new sound system.

It will be the first and only municipal concert hall in Calvià in history. A hall made and designed for live music lovers that will have a stable programming with the visit of local and national artists.

The hall's inauguration, after the renovation, is scheduled for November, with the resumption of the project that began in 2019 with INDIRECTO, a cycle of indie music concerts, which will feature performances by Alice Wonder, on Friday 26th, and Veintiuno, on Saturday 27th.
