APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS FOR THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR MAY BE SUBMITTED FROM 29TH MAY TO 30TH JUNE

Applications for municipal grants for the start of the school year for students enrolled in public centres who have to attend the second cycle of Infant, Primary, Compulsory Secondary or Baccalaureate can be submitted from 29th May to 30th June.
This is an aid granted by the Social Development Area and which was launched in 2017 and which is intended to subsidise part of the expenses that families -with students enrolled in public centres- have at the beginning of the school year, such as the purchase of textbooks, digital textbooks, curricular material, computer infrastructure for study, etc.
This call, corresponding to the 2023-2024 academic year, introduces some novelties to adapt the aid to inflation. Thus, the threshold of the family income limit to access the aid and the amount of each benefit increase.
In order to request aid for the start of the school year, the family unit may not exceed the following income limits at the time of submitting the application:
