He was born in Granada (Ventas de Huelma), on 12th October 1953.
He is a teacher of secondary education. Specialty Hospitality and Tourism.
Superior Degree in Tourism and Master's Degree in Tourism Management and Planning. He has specialised training in training and updating of management teams and Human Resources and in coordination of work teams.
His professional career, initiated in 1968, is directed to the performance of responsibilities in the sector of Hospitality and Tourism. His teaching activity, as a teacher of a hotel and tourism training workshop, is from 1978 to 1985. From this date, and to the present time, he works as a teacher of secondary education. He was Director of IES Juniper Serra from October 1988 to June 1999.
He was Provincial Director of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) from October 2004 to March 2012.
In the local Administration, from 1999 to 2003, he was Deputy Mayor of Economic Development and Human Resources of Calvià Town Hall and President of the Llar de Calvià. From 2003 to 2007, Councillor in this same administration.
