Los ministrils se presentan (The musicians present themselves)
This is a recreational and pedagogical activity, with approximately a duration of sixty minutes, which combines concert, history, evolution, the history and features of the several instruments given as well as this formation formal functions one of the Consell de Mallorca institutional symbols. The Ministrils is a formation of musicians at the service of the king and the Majorcan institutions which remained until the beginning of the 20th century. They are dressed as in the 18th century, with tricorns, wigs, green jackets, ruffled shirts, three-quarter length trousers, leotards and buckle shoes. This activity is a small stroll through history and the daily life of this singular musical formation, lost amongst the classical and traditional music. The concert conjugates pieces of the 15th century with other current ones specially created by Joch de Ministrils.
