Santa Ponça
The fourth edition of Santa Ponça Cup Mallorca is held at the Santa Ponça municipal sports centre. It is a football championship of (U-12) and (U-10) categories, with a total of 40 teams.
The competition presents many novelties:
More international: There will be four countries represented in the tournament, more than in other editions: Spain, Italy (Parma and Bologna), England (Manchester City) and Scotland (Rossvale FC).
High level teams: The fourth edition will have some of the best youth teams in the football scene, both national, with teams such as FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia, Betis or Sevilla, and international, such as Manchester City and Parma.
An icon returns: After two years of absence, the iconic referee Rafa Guerrero returns to the Santa Ponça Cup as sponsor. The ex-professional referee already refereed the first edition finals and this year his peculiar style returns to Santa Ponça.
Costa de Calvià team: Fruit of the collaboration agreement between Platges de Calvià, Santa Ponça, Atlético Paguera and Son Ferrer, a team has been formed with players from those clubs who will participate in the youth tournament under the name Costa de Calvià. On behalf of the municipality will also play Son Caliu, Calvià and Ágora Portals.
