Calvià renews its commitment to a regulated tourism offer.

  • The mayor met with administrative bodies so that each, within the scope of their powers, could establish coordination and planning mechanisms for monitoring and controlling irregular activities within the tourism offer

Calvià Town Hall hosted a meeting on Monday in which the importance of not lowering guard regarding unregulated leisure tourism activities was discussed.

The mayor, Juan Antonio Amengual, received at the town hall representatives of the Government Delegation in the Islands, the CAEB (Employers' Association), and the Chief of the Local Police, Esther Ribas.

Together, they addressed the importance of continuing to implement actions aimed at complying with the provisions of, amongst other legal provisions, the Responsible Tourism Decree, labour regulations, and municipal ordinances.

The administrations present at the meeting committed, each within their powers, to maintain the necessary surveillance and prevention efforts to ensure that these behaviours are definitively eradicated, with the cooperation of tourism entrepreneurs.
