Cultural Route: ''La leyenda del conde Mal en Palma''. (The legend of Count Mal in Palma)

Ramón Burgues Safortesa (1627-1694), most known with the nickname of Comte Mal. He was a complex and multifaceted historical personality, with lights and shadows, who was born, lived and died in Mallorca. He was the second count of Formiguera, belonging therefore to one of the most powerful families on the island and had in property extensive territories, estates and houses in many places of Mallorca. It was precisely in the lands where he was Master where the black legend was settled and developed throughout more than three hundred years. We will visit Can Formiguera, the Santa Clara convent, Sant Francesc square, Can Nunis of Sant Joan, the Baronal court, the remains of Sant Domingo convent and Can Tomàs of Pedrís del Born.
