Five conferences have been organised this year in Calvià on the occasion of the third edition of the Open University for the Elderly. These are free conferences of 1 hour taught by teachers of the UIB under the slogan "Learning is ageless" aimed preferably at people over 55 who want to continue nourishing on new knowledge.

The conferences will take place during five consecutive Tuesdays starting on 8th May, at 6 p.m., at Es Generador. Most subjects are topics suggested by the people who participated last year. Thus, there will be a conference on conflict resolution skills to learn to solve difficult situations; the importance of improving the quality of sleep; how to improve memory; physical exercise as medicine and new technologies. To participate in the closing ceremony organised by the UIB at the university campus and receive the diploma, you must participate in at least 4 of the 5 conferences.
