The Calvià Young Music Festival will have two different-style concerts this year


The third edition of Musicalvià starts again in Calvià with the aim of giving young local and Balearic musicians in general the opportunity to show their talent. To this end, the Calvià Town Hall organises for the third consecutive year the music festival aimed at soloists between 12 and 30 years old and groups which 50% of its members are between these ages.

Soloists, Djs and young musical groups of the Balearic Islands can participate in the Festival, performing unpublished themes or versions unregistered in rights management entities, except those that have free licence or public domain. Participants must meet the requirement of not having a contract in force with any record label.

The first selection phase of the band and soloist contest will be made through videoclips and video recorded performances that will be posted on online platforms of the Youth Service for popular voting, and there will be a second selection phase with a qualified jury. Local participants can record their performance in the recording room of the youth building Es Generador.


The winning groups or soloists selected by the jury will have the opportunity to act as guest stars in one of the two scheduled concerts with national musicians, which will be announced in the coming days. This is a novelty of this year: the first day, on 29th June, will be dedicated to Rap music, and the second day, on 30th June, to the Rock style.
