Calvià Daily

Calvià will celebrate Book Day on Saturday 18th April in Palmanova. The event will take place on the Paseo del Mar, offering visitors a continuous schedule of activities from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Throughout the event, the Palmanova seafront promenade will be filled with life, featuring bookstalls and stalls selling roses. There will also be a board game area, as well as book signings by local authors and the presence of the BiblioRoulotte (mobile library). 

A festive atmosphere is guaranteed with activities for the whole family, including traditional games with the Ludoteca de Jardí (toy library), various workshops, face painting with Mundo Arcoiris, and entertainment by the Patrulla Cansina brass band and the Dimonis Comte Mal. Younger children can also enjoy storytelling sessions at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

Beyond the event in Palmanova, the celebration is part of a broader programme spanning the entire month of April 2026. From 8th to 28th April, the municipality's library network will organise events including story time, workshops, a poetry recital, and a meeting with the writer Eduardo de la Fuente.
