A tribute to the career, dedication and values of Joan Munar Martínez, the Paralympic athlete from Calvià
On 8 July 2026, at 7.00 pm, the official ceremony to name the Magaluf Athletics Track ‘Joan Munar Martínez’ will take place.
With this tribute, the municipality of Calvià recognises the extraordinary sporting career, the effort, the determination and the values embodied by Paralympic athlete Joan Munar Martínez, a role model both on and off the track.
The ceremony will be held at the Magaluf Athletics Track, where family members, institutional representatives, sports organisations and members of the public will be able to join the athlete in this moving tribute.
