The Hoteliers Association of Palmanova-Magaluf, as delegated by the other associations, will be responsible for the development of the programme, which will include amongst other things, classical and pop music concerts ; open air concerts ; guided excursions on foot and visits to the Galatzo, Raixa, Son real, and S'Albufera estates; cycle rides ; jazz and folk nights, visits to Calvià market and Capdepera Mediaeval market, as well as specific activities pertinent to each holiday resort, such as the special events of Easter week.

The joint venture between Calvià Town Hall and the hoteliers Associations for the management of "Calvià A European Winter" (Calvià, el invierno europeo) started back in 1997-98 with this initiative which has continued every year since then. Furthermore the Mayor has expressed his commitment to the continuation of the programme in years to come, given the key role that it plays in lengthening the tourist season.
