This coming Sunday, 16th May, the Independent Communities will celebrate their festivity in the fairground "El Molino", in the Galatzó residential estate.

In between 12.00 and 18.00 hours anyone attending the fairground in Sta. Ponça will be able to taste the various typical dishes from the 17 independent communities as well as the two independent cities (Ceuta and Melilla) which will also be represented with a total of 18 stands distributed throughout the fairground.

During the day various regional groups will dance their typical dances such as the andaluz (Andalusian),Ball de Bot (Mallorquin dancing) , Murcia and Castilla León. Also regional and modern music, amongst others, can be heard. A giant slide and a mechanical bull will be provided for the children.

Each of the independent communities will have its own stand with its own typical food and drinks which anyone attending the event will be able to taste. It is estimated that more than 3000 people will attend the event.
