Calvià commemorates, with its popular festivities, “las Fiestas del Rei en Jaume”, the 781 years of the Rei en Jaume (King James) disembark on the Santa Ponça Bay, from the 27th August to 16th September.

For the 2010 edition, the festive programme will consist of more than 60 cultural, leisure and traditional activities such as concerts, exhibitions, nit de foc (fire night), medieval market, thematic fiestas, parades, traditional dancing, cross swimming, etc.

The 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th September will be the days for the parades, battles, medieval market and camp settings.
