Calvià gives 14.600 euros in grants to students that complement their studies in Europe
With the aim of promoting the Calvià´s youth education, giving, at the same time, an answer to the necessities of a labour market that demands professionals even more competent and prepared, the Calvià Town Hall, and specifically the (IMEB), Education Municipal Institute and Libraries, has approved to give, a total sum of 14.600 euros in complementary grants for university exchange, to a total of 19 students.
The concession of these grants is framed within the Complementary Grants official announcement for the Erasmus permanent action learning programmes and pupils exchange programmes within the subscribed agreements framework, between universities which include the learning or the improvement of a foreign language during the course 2010/2011. The students, who have received mentioned grant, all of them neighbours of the municipality of Calvià, complement, this year, their corresponding studies in Great Britain, Belgium, USA, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, France, Germany, Italy and Bucharest.
