Within the 'Soul Tour' world tour´s framework, the British singer Seal, will perform at the “El Molino” Calvià fairground, this forthcoming Saturday 16^th July from 8.30 p.m., presenting his last work 'The Commitment' in a concert which counts with the collaboration of the Calvià Town Hall which within its support framework, leisure and cultural activities renowned international and nationwide can be taken place in the municipality, thus, becoming Calvià a place which encourages important musicians from around the world to include this area in their tours.

Talking about Seal means talking about one of the current best soul voices. Seal is especially known in soul and has sold, in his large musical carreer, more than 15 million records worldwide apart from being awarded with three Grammys.

He arised from the British house musical scene at the beginning of the 90´s, when he composed the words and music of the 'Er' success, of the techno artist Adamski, with who reached the top of the charts. Thanks to this work, Seal achieved a contract to record his soloist first album, 'Seal'. His first single was 'Crazy' and the release of the album had such a good acceptance from the public that made him sell more than three million copies.

His romantic and emotional love songs such as 'Prayer for the Dying', the Grammy Award-winning 'Kiss from a Rose' and 'Don’t Cry' (both from 1994´s Seal II album) and 'Love’s Divine' (from 2003´s Seal IV album), have delighted his fans and have enabled him to gain critical acclaim.

The responsibles for the municipality would like to welcome Seal to Calvià and also show their satisfaction and gratitude to the singer for having chosen the municipality to hold one of his 2011 world tour concerts.
