Calvià, and specifically the Galatzó´s sports hall, will be the scenario for the W.E.B.B.S ´s XVI International Congress to be held on 7th , 8th and 9th October. The WEBBS is an organization, which promotes the practice of martial arts, established in more than seventy countries. It is expected the arrival, to our municipality, of more than 200 participants coming from all over the world.

The convention is a theoretical and practical knowledge exchange framework which gathers clubs, associations and professional individuals and amateurs linked to the practice of martial arts. It is expected the participation of more than two hundred people, this year, apart from all those people accompanying the participants or those attending as auxiliary staff during the activities duration.

Having the Congress being held in the month of October, special attention is put to the excellent opportunity which represents for the promotion of the municipality of Calvià given the media impact which entails the celebration of this kind of events.

The hours of the conference are as follows: from 9 to 13 hours and from 15 to 18h from Friday until Sunday.
