During the course of these last days, representatives of the Formative and Occupational Institute in Calvià have been keeping in contact with a German delegation of the European Union´s transnational project "IdA -“Integration for exchange”, financed by the European Social Fund and which the organization LBW and SBW AUS - und Fortbildung mbH Leipzig and Schwerin is promoting and carrying out.

Said project has, as main objective, increase the people´s mobility, flexibility and self-esteem through the professional experience overseas, and also promote the spirit of being part of the European Union.

During the visit, the delegation members talked about their experience using as a basis, the intensive labour relations which, over the years, held with the Halle and Schwerin´s employment public service, the pertinent job centres, regional and supraregional companies in collaboration with the official entities of the European Union.

The organization LBW has imposed itself as an objective, create and analyze new concepts and methods which favor the development of the labour´s mobility and flexibility for the workers, specially those under the age of 25, who are the ones with more problems to have access to their first job due to their lack of experience.

The intention of the "IdA – Integration for exchange" project is, to facilitate the young people to incorporate into the labour world while the acquire professional experience and also experience the advantages of the labour mobility, fact that will allow them to return to their countries with not only a labour and idiomatic experience but also of integration as a Union citizen.

After the advantages exhibition and seeing the potential beneficial effects for the Calvià citizens, the IFOC expressed its total willingness to collaborate with the project´s managing entities through the participation in meetings and other activities leading to their participation as a member in a forthcoming edition.
