The Mayor of Calvià, Manuel Onieva, accompanied by the Local Police Chief in Calvià, José Antonio Navarro, the Deputy Mayor for Security, Manuel Grille, and the Town Hall´s Manager, Víctor Hernández, has been welcomed by the Balearic Government´s Delegate, Jose María Rodríguez, this morning, with whom dealt all the actions to be taken jointly between the National Police and the Municipality´s Local Police to fight against both, the street prostitution and the trade on the public way.

During the reception, they also talked about the imminent inauguration of the new Guarda Civil´s headquarters, which will be located in the Son Bugadelles Industrial Estate.

This has been the first meeting between the recently appointed Delegate of the Balearic Government and the municipal responsibles, who were very pleased with Rodríguez´s willingness to discuss all the security topics regarding the municipality of Calvià.
