The consistory signs a contract with the company Oxidoc for the acquisition of 6 defribillators which will be installed in the different indoor swimming-pools of the municipality.

Agreement between Calvià Town Hall and Oxidoc.

The Calvià Town Hall has signed a contract with the company OXIDOC, through which 6 defribillators have been acquired and which will be installed in the different swimming-pools of the municipality.

This state-of-the-art defribillator allows the complete resuscitation of the patient thanks to its special characteristics. The acquisition of this special equipment is due to the necessity of giving a quick solution in view of emergencies such as heart failure or sudden death, as this will mean the possibility of acting with the most modern portable defribillators.

The six indoor swimming-pools of the municipality will be provided with this equipment which will be installed, specifically, in Peguera, Santa Ponça, Bendinat, Son Caliu, Son Ferrer and in the Calvià Sports Centre.

Also, with the aim of guaranteeing the correct use of the defribillators, OXIDOC will give specific training to three people for each unit and a refresher course to other three, which means specific training for 18 workers and a refresher course for other 18.
