Calvià gets ready to celebrate one of the Majorca´s most traditional festivities: Sant Antoni. The different centres of population of Calvià are looking forward to join the magic, the fire and the enchantment of that night.

Calvià gets ready to celebrate one of the Majorca´s most traditional festivities: Sant Antoni. Therefore, each and every of the different centres of population of the municipality of Calvià are looking forward to join the magic, the fire and the enchantment of that night with its traditional bonfires.

Thus, bonfires will be lit in Magalluf, Galatzó and Portals Nous this forthcoming Friday 18th January and on the 19th and 20th January in Son Ferrer, Santa Ponça and Costa de la Calma, Peguera, El Toro, es Capdellà, Son Caliu, Calvià village and Costa d'en Blanes.



Magaluf (18th January)

Bonfires will take place in Magaluf at Tirso de Molina St. (in front of the Hotel Martinique) on Friday 18th as from 20.00 hours.

Sol de Mallorca (19th January)

The place chosen to celebrate Sant Antoni is Terral St. at 20 hours.

Son Caliu (19th January)

Sant Antoni bonfires will be located at the public Square, next to the Club de Hielo, where they will start as from 19.00 hours.

Galatzó´s residential area (18th January)

The bonfire will take place at the plaza Francisca Revert, at 19.00 hours.

Peguera (19th January)

The Peguera neighbours will be able to meet at the popular bonfire which will be located at the Casal´s parking area on 19th January as from 19.00 hours.

Calvià Village (19th January)

Calvià´s “Alimara”, the biggest bonfire, will be lit next to the basketball area located beside the church on 19th January as from 20.00 hours.

Es Capdellà (19th January)

Bonfires will take place at Sa Vinya square (Plaça de Sa Vinya) on 19th January at 19.00 hours.

Santa Ponça (20th January)

Bonfires will be lit at the Santa Ponça´s Sports Centre on Sunday 20th at 18.00 hours.

Portals Nous (18th January)

Bonfires will be lit at the Plaza Portals on Friday as from 18.00 hours.

Son Ferrer (19th January)

The bonfires in Son Ferrer will be lit next to the church at Ocell del Paradís St. at 19.00 hours.

El Toro (19th January)

The neighbours from El Toro will enjoy with its bonfires at the Plaza de Europa, as from 19.00 hours.



The Calvià´s traditional animals blessing, “beneïdes”, will take place at the San Juan Bautista church, on Sunday 20th at 12.00 hours.
