The start-up of the programme “commercially....Calvià”, expects to make the businesspeople aware towards the new consumer trends bearing in mind the characteristics of the municipality.
The Calvià Town Hall, through the IFOC, has launched for the businesses of Santa Ponça the integral programme "comercialmente... Calvià" (commercially....Calvià), in collaboration with the Instituto de Innovación Empresarial de Baleares (IDI) (Balearic Business Innovation Institute) and the Dirección General de Comercio y Empresa (Directorate General of Business and Commerce).
To boost the trade is what is expected within this initiative, make the businesspeople aware towards the adaptation to the new consumer trends, applying the own strategies in the streets of the municipality bearing in mind the characteristics of the municipality, with the aim of creating a made- to- measure programme allowing the businesses to differentiate their product and improve their competitiviness.
The programme is framed within a course of formative actions which will be held during the months of October and November at the cultural centre of Santa Ponça.
50 businessespeople of the area participated in the first action which took place yesterday, and in which they were informed of the programme at the same time a strategic analysis was carried out with the aim of identifying their necessities, noting the opportunities and diagnosing the problems.
