Calvia has received a special recognition for its Project of Integral Management System for Beaches.

Calvia Town Hall received last 12  Noviembre 2004, during the act of presentation of the Balearic Prize of Excellence in Management, a special recognition for its Project of Integral Management System for Beaches, compiled by the areas of Information, Organization and Quality System and Beaches and Coastline. 

This project lets us know the real situation of all the beaches in the area based on the valorations made by all the implicated parties.  Besides that, thanks to this project,  guidelines have been laid down to continually improve the services with the aim of increasing the satisfaction of the users of the beaches in Calvia.

The Balearic Prize of Excellance in Management is organized by the Institute for the Innovation of Enterprises of the Balearic Islands and is based on the Total Quality model EFQM.
