Calvià has achieved another recognition for the quality of its beaches. This year, the Oratorio beach has received the award joining the ones given to the beaches of Son Maties, Es Carregador, Palmanova, Palmira and Santa Ponça.

The municipality of Calvià has achieved another recognition for the quality of its beaches. The Oratorio beach was awarded with such important recognition during the course of FITUR.

The award, which now joins the five received last year for the beaches of Palmanova, Palmira, Santa Ponça, Es Carregador and Son Matíes, arrives after fulfilling the requirements of the qualification committee and which evaluates the state of the facilities, the cleanliness, the security, and the rescue and information services, amongst other things.

Daniel Perpiñá, Deputy Mayor for Coast Lines and Beaches, attended the prize-giving event.

Therefore, with this new Q for Tourist Quality, the municipality of Calvià is still the only one in the Balearic Islands holding such an important recognition for one of its greatest tourist assets.
