The athlete from Huesca, actual bronze medal in the Spanish Championship, will run the Half Marathon on the forthcoming 2nd March.
Eliseo Martín, ex Spanish Championship in the 3.000 obstacles course and now long-distance runner, has confirmed his presence in the Magaluf Marathon XXX edition, which will take place on the forthcoming 2nd March and in which he will run the Half Marathon race.
The athlete, who will be 41 years old in November, has passed from being the most important Spanish athlete ever running the 3.000 obstacles course to become bronze medal last November in the Spanish Marathon Championship held in San Sebastián and in which he crossed the finish line in a time of 2:14:04, just one minute from the European minimum.
It is to be recalled that the Magaluf Marathon circuit received last week the race's circuit official approval, after the measurements carried out on Sunday by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo. The route of the race had already obtained the national approvement last year but due to the fact that the present edition will hold the Balearic Championship, it has been necessary this new formality.
This year's route outstands for its marked urban nature, fact that the racers will appreciate, making the race faster than in previous editions.
The period for registrations will remain open until the 28th February which can be made through the web page Elitechip. As from said date they can be made at the Feria del Corredor, which will take place on 1st March at the Magaluf Athletics Track.
