A total of 59 restaurants of the municipality, which means a record in participation, will offer menus for 10, 12 or 16 euros on 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th April.
Once more, the Town Hall, headed by the Mayor Manuel Onieva, supports the Mostra de Cuines of Calvià. Thus, and for the seventh consecutive year with this format, the Mostra de Cuines will take place every Friday during the month of April in a different area of the municipality.
A total of 59 restaurants have registered, which means a record in the number of participating establishments: 17 in Santa Ponça and Son Bugadelles on 4th April, 15 in Peguera, Calvià and El Toro on Friday 11th April, 9 restaurants in Cas Català, Bendinat, Illetes, Costa d´en Blanes and Portals Nous on Friday 18th April and 18 in the area of Son Ferrer, Palmanova, Son Caliu and Magaluf where the Mostra will take place on Friday 25th April.
Once again, a new edition of the Mostra de Cuines has started in the municipality of Calvià with a total of 59 restaurants registered. Also, the price of the menu offered (the same one midday and evening) has been classified in 10, 12 and 16 euros. The menu includes a first course, a second course, a dessert and a drink. The novelty of this year is the presence of a children's menu in a great number of establishments.
The Mayor has recalled that “with the Mostra de Cuines the Town Hall carries out a direct promotion of the restaurant sector showing the Calvià's cuisine quality and variety offer at the same time it means a minimum cost for the entering restaurants as the consistory takes care of the promotion of the event."
The restaurants opening hours are: from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and it is recommended to make previous reservations by telephone.
