The Calvià Town Hall and OCIBAR, service concession for the use of the marina of Port Adriano, have signed a collaboration agreement this morning through which it is agreed the construction of a new access to the cove of El Toro, closed since August last year because of landslides.

In the agreement signed by the Deputy Mayor for Coast Lines and Highways and Works, and at the same time Councillor of El Toro, Daniel Perpiñá, and by the manageress of Port Adriano, Isabel Teruel, it states that OCIBAR will be in charge of the works, which will not exceed more than fifteen days, under the supervision of a municipal technical expert of the Town Hall. Also, the consistory will assume the maintenance of the new access once the tasks are finished.

The works have a year guarantee and in case of any imperfections during this period, OCIBAR will be in charge of the repairs of said imperfections, provided that these are produced during the execution of the works.

Also, as it used to be before the closing because of the landslides, the use of the new access will be free, public and free of charge and in no case OCIBAR will have the right to the private or special use of the public domain.

The cove of El Toro remains closed since the end of August 2013 due to stone landslides on the retaining wall which borders the space destined to bathers.
