The main objective is to encourage the return to the education system and facilitate the professional insertion of those youths who have not obtained the ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) degree.

Two new Programmes of Basic Professional Training will start on the forthcoming Monday 9th February at the IFOC's premises in Son Ferrer in the Specialities of Shop Assistant and Motor Vehicle Technician Maintenance Assistant, which main objective is to encourage the return to the education system and facilitate the professional insertion of those youths who have not obtained the ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) degree, have not equivalent degrees and need to improve the basic skills to be able to have access to the labour market.

The recipients of the programme are young people of between 16 and 21 years old who have not obtained the ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) degree and would like to obtain a professional certificate to be able to have access to the labour world, continue the ESO studies or through an access test continue with an Itermediate Formative Course.

The lessons will have a theoretical-practical nature, and once finished the first theoretical phase, the pupils will do 80 practical hours in businesses of the municipality.
