The second Deputy Mayor delegate for Tourism, Commerce and Urban Planning of Calvià, Antonio García Moles, has collected this week in Madrid the 8 Q flags for tourist quality awarded to the municipality, especially to the beaches of Oratorio, Es Carregador, Palmanova, Son Maties, Ses Penyes Roges, Santa Ponça, Torà and Palmira, in an event headed by the Minister for Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria López, and the president of the Institute for the Spanish Tourist Quality, Miguel Mirones Díez, and in which other 24 destinations were also awarded.

The Calvià Town Hall's objective is to consolidate this situation and increase these 8 quality certificates in the future.
