The Town Hall of Calvia has hosted the traveling unit of the Blood and Tissue Bank Foundation of the Balearic Islands, being part of the awareness and collection campaign conducted by the entity. Public servants, employees and members of the council wanted to collaborate and have taken part on this donation day that has taken place in the Exhibition Hall.

This same week, the Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal has received in audience those responsible for the Brotherhood of Blood Donors of the Balearic Islands. The meeting was attended by the President of the Brotherhood, Llorenç Vallori; the Vice President and responsible for the Calvià area, Antoni Roca; the General Director, Guillem Coll; and the Treasurer and Board member Ramón Piña. Also at the meeting on behalf of the City Council were the Deputy Mayor Delegate for Social Cohesion, Nati Francés; and the Deputy Mayor for Social Services and the Elderly, Mayte Alberti.
