The Mayor of Calvià was able to assess the activities and services that the Town Council's Youth Department carries out throughout the year.

 

The Mayor of Calvià has visited Es Generator, where the Town Council's Youth Department offices are located.


During the visit, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal was able to assess the different activities that this municipal area carries out throughout the year, and the services offered to local youth. He also attended one of Batucada (drums) practise sessions, as a drum group is preparing for the Rei en Jaume festivities.


The Town Councillor, who was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor for Sports, Youth and Foreign Residents, Eva Serra, and the Councilman for Youth, Israel Molina, has listened to the explanations given by the head of the Youth Department, Teresa Pagès, and one of the team coordinators, Jordi Amengual as they visited the building. The visit was also attended by the Councillor for Citizen Participation, Fernando Alcaraz, and the General Director for Youth and Participation, Juan Antonio Marcos.


The Mayor wanted to thank the work carried out by Calvià's Youth Department, encouraging them to continue with their efforts and good work.
