THE CALVIÀ CITIZENS CAN CONSULT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE WEB, THE ORGANIZATION CHART AND THE SALARIES OF THE POLITICAL AND MANAGERIAL POSTS OF THE TOWN HALL

Soon, the Calvian will also have access to the curriculums and other information of public interest.

The Calvià Town Hall publishes for the first time in the web, the organization chart and salaries of the political and managerial posts of the Consistory. Apart from meeting the regulations, it has been given an answer to a legislature commitment. The Calvià Town Hall, with the boost of the general directorate for Transparency and Report of Accounts, is working to comply with the investiture commitment in terms of transparency, which will mean the achievement of a citizen's right and a change in the relationship amongst the public administration and the citizenship. Amongst other aspects, it is working on the improvement of the municipal web in order to be a more useful tool for the citizen.

The web will provide information of public interest, but the citizens of Calvià can now have access to the municipal organization chart in which appear the people who are in charge of each councillorship, general directorate, autonomous or independent body, foundation, etc.

On the other side, the salaries of the members of the Municipal Corporation (government team and opposition councillors), temporary employees, manager and general directors (non temporary/civil servants), and top management personnel (managers of public companies and autonomous bodies) have also been published.

This legislature has begun with a series of changes with regards to the previous ones. Amongst other aspects, the Mayor's salary has been reduced an 11%. Also the number of temporary personnel has been reduced, from 16 to 12, although from the 12 provided by approvement in the Plenary session, now only 10 have beeen appointed.
