The Mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, attended the meeting with the British Ambassador, Simon Manley, which was held at the Palau de la Premsa. The meeting, which was organised by the Majorca Daily Bulletin, was also attended by, Biel Barceló, Vice President of the Regional Government and Regional Minister for Tourism; Cosme Bonet, insular Minister for Economy and Treasury; Paula Ginard, insular Director of Tourism; Joana Maria Adrover, Councillor for Tourism of Palma City Council; and Lloyd Millen, British Consul General. On behalf of Calvià Town Hall, also attended the meeting the Deputy Mayor of Sports and Foreign Citizens, Eva Serra, and the responsible of the Foreign Citizens' Department, Dolina Reynolds.
