Statement of Calvià Town Hall regarding the tax collection service

Pending the resolution of the Board of Administrative Contracting of the Balearic Islands on the possibility of extending temporarily the current contract of the tax collection services, the Calvià Town Hall is taking the appropriate steps to ensure the provision of the municipal tax collection service as of 1^st May, in case that the report of the Board does not allow the temporary extension.

In this sense, the Town Hall is starting up the necessary mechanisms in case it had to take on the tax collection service with its own resources as of 1st May. To this end, it has been agreed at the negotiating table with unions the provision of places in commission of temporary services, so that the service is not interrupted and meanwhile progresses towards the definitive internalisation, as it was approved in the Plenary session.
