THE TOWN HALL WILL IMPROVE THE SITUATION AND TIMES OF THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF SOME AREAS OF THE MUNICIPALITY WITH RESTRICTED ACCESS

 

The consistory will inform the affected businesses to respect the schedules to be established

 

The Calvià Town Hall has met with the representatives of the Asociación de Empresas de Distribución de Alimentación, Bebidas y Limpieza (Association of Food, Beverage & Cleaning Distribution Businesses) (ADED), integrated in AFEDECO, to introduce improvements in the loading and unloading areas of the municipality and make a more rational use that can meet the demands of suppliers and businesses.


An analysis of the situation of the municipality has been made, and specifically in the area of ​​Avinguda Magaluf that, after the works carried out, has become RESTRICTED zone (ACIRE). The association of distributors has informed the Town Hall that both, the spaces and times of loading and unloading on this street are very limited.


At the meeting, it has been agreed to implement, on the Avinguda Magaluf, the general regulation of the circulation ordinance, that is, allow the loading and unloading from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (currently is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.), also some more points will be enabled for loading and unloading goods in this street.


The Town Hall will inform all traders in the area of this new schedule, warning that it will be strict in order that the established schedules are respected.
