CALVIÀ'S 2016 BEACH GUARD CONFERENCE

The Beach Guard Conference will take place today Monday and tomorrow Tuesday at the sala Palmanova of Calvià, with the participation of about 60 people.

The Calvià Town Hall, through the area of Emergencies and Civil Protection, undertakes a conference at the beginning of the beach season addressed to beach guards who will work in the municipality from May 1 to October 31, to know the mechanism and protocols to be followed.

During the conference, which schedule is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., attendees will know how all Calvià services that are related to beaches work: Emergencies and Civil Protection, Local Police, Environment, Calvià 2000, Coastguard, etc.

The subjects taught are:

Beaches of Calvià 2016 Rescue Plan

First Aid and CPR, according to new recommendations ERC 2015

Use of amphibious chair and handicapped people

Safety on beaches

Quality: Blue Flag and Q for Quality Flag

Jellyfish plan, etc.

The Deputy Mayor for General Services and Security, Andreu Serra, has welcomed the participants, along with the chief of the Local Police of Calvià, Justino Trenas.
