Calvià enjoyed the celebration of the Cultural Night JoanArt 2016, a trip through the Art in Calvià that culminated in a musical evening in Can Verger.

JoanArt -coordinated by the Balearic Association for the Promotion of Decorative Arts, ABADE- began with an exhibition at the Calvià Town Hall which can be visited until the 8th of July, with art works by: Amable Villaroel, Carlos Quintana, Carmen Cañadas, Dolors Martí, Emma Cano, Steve Afif, Eva Martín Soler, Jandro, Joan Gibert, Jorge Pinilla, Lucía Parra, Marian Moratinos, Mariano Mayol, Martín Berlín, Miquel Segura, Nils Burwitz, Vicens Torres, Xisco Rubio, Aitziber Esteran, Jackson Beer, Julio León, Bruno Frerejean y Monsina Rosselló.

The exhibition Calvià is cinema could also be visited, and it will remain in the Exhibition Hall of the Town Hall until the 12th of August.

At 20:30 the tour continued to Can Verger with an sculpture exhibition, including works by Cristina Llano, Isabel Ballester, Juan A. Montañez, Luis López, Pep Canyelles, Ricardo Sacco, Sandra Renzi, Toni de la Mata y Yolanda Rodríguez ; ceramics by Margalida Escales and Miquel Segura; Jewelry art by Marta Murgades and video by Fernando Megías, that can be visited until the 8th of July.

The cultural feast ended in the gardens of Can Verger with different performances: the poetic prose of Anthel Blau; a Performance by Aina Pastor; live painting by Dolors Martí, as live music played by Raúl Alemany, Jema Fernández y Marta Murgades.
