SPECIFIC MEASURES FOR THE CALVIÀ FOC:


FOR PARTICIPANTS:


∙ Wear cotton clothes, preferably old, with sleeves and long trousers.
∙ Wear a hat or cap and cover the neck with a cotton handkerchief.
∙ Protect your eyes.
∙ Wear flexible and covered footwear (sports, mountain, etc.).
∙ Cover your ears to reduce the noise of pyrotechnic explosions.
∙ Do not throw water; wet pyrotechnics is uncontrollable.
∙ Obey the instructions of the law enforcement and health service.
∙ To take your own pyrotechnic products is prohibited; can be used only the ones prepared by the organisers.
∙ Respect the figures of fire, its bearers and musicians.
∙ Adopt a correct attitude with the dimonis (devils) and do not obstruct their way or make them fall.
∙ Always follow the instructions of the dimonis.
∙ Inform yourself, before the start, of the correfoc's itinerary and health care points.
∙ In case of burns, address yourself immediately to the medical attention points.
∙ In case of danger, follow the instructions of the dimonis or security forces.


FOR RESIDENTS AND TRADERS:


∙ Remove all the vehicles from the itinerary streets.
∙ Lower metal portals or blinds of buildings.
∙ Protect glass windows, doors and shop windows with thick cardboard.
∙ Do not throw water to the correfoc's participants or spectators, due to the danger it represents.
∙ Disconnect all type of alarms.
∙ Remove from the public way any object that may hinder the passage of the correfoc.
